Together, our exceptionally talented and highly skilled idgroupers make up an award-winning team. Each person offers an expertise to our clients, and the synergy of our group is recognized on the national and international level. But we are more than a group of dedicated brand advocates. We seek to be passionate agents of change—for our clients, our team and our society. We won't stop until we have succeeded in this pursuit. Let's talk.
Mona is idgroup’s fearless leader, founder, owner and navigator. Through and through, she is a passionate thinker and academic helping individuals and organizations transform who they are into something beyond what they thought possible.
As founder and president of idgroup, and creator of Branding from the Core®, her intense passion for helping businesses succeed has translated into a personal mission to shape and transform business-as-is to business-as-it-should-be. Recognized as an expert in the areas of organization development, brand identity and change, Mona’s compass consistently points all she meets toward a bearing of success.
Mona holds a Ph.D in organization development and change and a master’s in communication arts.
Kris is soft-spoken, thoughtful and always focused, but beneath his quiet and professional demeanor is a wry sense of humor and surprising showman who has been known to occasionally knock out a few dance steps in the office between projects. He devotes himself fully to everything he does, from conducting Branding from the Core facilitations to skydiving to crafting national advertising campaigns. Even his saltwater aquarium is as meticulously designed as the Sistine Chapel.
Born in Japan, half Filipino and raised in North Dakota and Tennesse, Kris brings a worldliness to idgroup’s creative core. A graduate of the University of West Florida with a bachelor’s degree in communication arts and public relations, his award winning work has been recognized on a national level.
Somi Choi is a talented young production artist and designer who offers a distinctive visual style and a quiet confidence in her outstanding work.
When she's not traversing the great distances to and from the coffee pot, she's bringing a little "Seoul" to the idgroup creative team. Originally from South Korea, and growing up in Honduras as a teenager, her dynamic multi-cultural background adds an international flare to her masterful skills as a designer. Somi holds a degree in graphic design.
If you asked Jared to describe his perfect day, it would most certainly involve his wife and daughter, his two Boston terriers (Ollie and Bella), a plethora of good music and food (hey, he loves to eat) and his handy dandy dot grid notebook. Jared is as close to hipster designer awesomeness as you can get: he lives, breathes and bleeds design. Don't believe us? Ask him about his Eames lounge chair, or any number of mid-century modern architects and designers!
Jared has an uncanny ability to channel his passion through every facet of his life. This makes for some pretty incredible creative talent that is recognized not just in our office or among
competition friends, but internationally via published books for logo design. When you have Jared on your team, you have more than a capable designer, you have a lightning-fast mass of grey matter ready to fire bolts of creative genius.

Dane comes to us from the hinterlands of the great white north—Vancouver—where being called a Canuck is a badge of honour—not honor.
Dane loves his cinematic craft. We're a little worried, because frankly, he's obsessed with it. However, with well over 1000 productions to his name and a mitt full of local, regional, and national awards; we’ve decided to skip the intervention. Besides, since he's survived hangin' around with cannibals in the jungles of Irian Jaya, we've figured he can handle just about anything. It’s in all of our best interests to just enable his obsessive quest for creating stories of substance, strength, and purpose. And that's aboot all there is to say aboot that, eh?
Gail Spruill Shaw is a compulsive art director. She can’t help herself. Gail’s ability to transform the simple and ordinary into work with meaning and impact makes her invaluable to advertising and marketing clients. She takes the best elements and blends them with her artistry and discipline to produce distinctive, memorable communications—especially in film, video/broadcast and photography.
Throughout her career, she has helped organizations of all sizes—from business start-ups to state governments, hospitals and universities to banks and tourism bureaus—articulate and communicate their brands through exceptional creative direction. As she’s supported her clients’ success, Gail has built her own reputation for passion, excellence and exceptionally good taste. She’s someone you want producing on your team—not your competitor’s.
If it's a Saturday in the Fall, you can most likely find Lindsey at Jordan-Hare Stadium on the campus of Auburn University. Don't let her appearance fool you: Lindsey is the epitome of a raving SEC football fan. When she's not preparing for a weekend of tailgating or cuddling up next to her four-legged children, she's acting as idgroup's operations director, ensuring that the day-to-day business tasks are managed with the utmost precision.
Lindsey is passionate about giving back to our community. She leads idgroup's Brand on Us initiative, is the chair of The Big Gala, a fundraiser to benefit Big Brother's Big Sister's of Northwest Florida, American Advertising Federation Pensacola Board Member and Auburn Club of Northwest Florida Board Member.
She is a graduate of Auburn University.
